Western Cape Government: Internship Programme 2024 / 2025

The Internship Programme is a youth programme (ages 20 to 35) and will provide an opportunity to gain practical work experience for a maximum period of twelve (12) months, whereby successful candidates will receive a annual stipend of R 89 409 (depending on the NQF level (6-10).

Stipend: R 89 409 per annum

Duration: 12 months contract

The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:

Intern: People Development

Degree/Diploma (NQF Level 6 or Higher) in one of the following:

• Information Technology.
• Human Resource Management
• Project Management.
• Computer Sciences.

Health and Wellness Support Service Interns

• You must be between ages of 18 – 35 years old.
• Proof of successful completion of Grade 9 – 12.
• Residing within the Western Cape.

Development Youth Admin Internship

• Higher Certificate/ National Diploma in: Public Management/Administration.

Intern: Communications

Degree/Diploma (NQF Level 6 or Higher) in one of the following:

• Marketing
• Communications
• Journalism
• Graphic Design
• Public Relations

Intern: Western Cape College of Nursing (Metro Campus, Athlone)

Degree/Diploma (NQF Level 6 or Higher) in one of the following:

• Information Technology
• Information System for System Development
• Project Management
• Computer Sciences
