RedBull: Finance Internship Programme 2024 / 2025

We are looking for a motivated talent to join our team for a 6 month internship in the Accounting department. This Internship within our finance team offers the ideal candidate the opportunity to experience the “World of Red Bull” from a finance perspective.

You will assist with the finance aspects of managing a key supplier of Red Bull South Africa as well as ensuring and maintaining the quality of the financial control environment by evaluating processes and driving efficiencies. You will work in a team environment and report directly to the Chief Accountant.

Responsibilities

• Processing of invoices in SAP.
• Ensuring and maintaining the quality of the financial control environment by reviewing coding and authorizations.
• Monitoring vendor account balances, ensuring accounts remain in a credit status.
• Assisting with analyzing the invoices posted by preparing various reports on actuals costs vs. budget.
• Keeping a record of reporting items for management reporting.
• Dealing promptly and efficiently with queries from both vendors and employees.
• Building and maintaining relationships with both vendors and employees.

Requirements:

• Relevant Diploma or Degree.

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent accounting knowledge and strong reconciliation and analytic skills.
• Driven self-starter with energy and enthusiasm to work efficiently within a team.
• Well organized and having the ability to work under pressure.
• First class oral and written communication skills.
• Microsoft Excel intermediate to advanced level.
• First experience with SAP is a plus.
