AECI Mining: Finance Internships (Finance / Accounting Graduates)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily financial activities, ensuring transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards and timelines
• Participate in the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports, gaining experience with financial analysis and reporting tools
• Collaborate with the finance team to assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights that contribute to AECI's financial planning
• Work on projects that enhance AECI's financial efficiency, productivity and decision-making, contributing meaningfully to business outcomes
• Apply theoretical knowledge to analyse financial data, develop financial models and create reports that support strategic initiatives
• Support audit preparations, assist with compliance-related tasks and help ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies
• Contribute ideas and support for initiatives that streamline and improve financial processes within the department
• Work closely with other departments to gain a holistic understanding of how finance supports and interacts with all areas of AECI’s business
• Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with Safety, Health and Environmental regulations, promoting a safe workplace

Requirements:

• A completed Bachelor of Commerce in Finance or Accounting at Undergraduate
• 0 - 1 years’ work experience
• South African citizens with no criminal record
• Must be between the ages 18 to 35
• Medically fit
