Giesecke+Devrient: Order Management Internships (Business or Supply Chain Graduates)

Giesecke and Devrient Mobile Security is seeking a proactive Order Management Intern to join our team. As an Operations Intern, you will gain valuable experience by supporting order management and operational processes within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role will provide you with hands-on exposure to operational workflows, order tracking, and coordination across teams to ensure timely and efficient execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn about operational excellence in a global organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the sales team with placing internal orders.
• Ensure all documentation in relation to the order is correct and filed according to the guidelines. .
• Support the customer operations team with weekly tracking of the orders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in weekly meetings and provide status updates.
• Provide updates to the sales team on orders placed.
• Provide administrative support, including handling correspondence and maintaining records.
• Assist in compiling reports related to operational performance and delivery schedules.

Requirements:

• Recently graduated from a Business, Supply Chain, or related program.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to have forward- thinking
• Ability to provide potential improvements to processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interest in operations, logistics, or order management within a technology-driven environment.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with team members.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to team success.
