OUTsurance: IT Help Desk Internship Programme 2025
The internship is a structured work-based program, affording unemployed graduates work experience in our company. The successful applicants will enter into a 12-month fixed term Internship agreement (not an employment contract) with the company and receive a stipend.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting of all OUTsurance’s in-house programs,
- Keep abreast of the latest technology in the industry, both Hardware and Software.
- Support of basic voice enquiries Support of all (desktop) Microsoft Applications
- Ability to guide Staff members on technical issues
- Technical knowledge sharing amongst all support team members and ensuring effective communication within the rest of the team
- Build a relationship with the users and ensuring that the customer’s needs are met,
- Preventative maintenance Administration – Procedures.
Education Requirements:
Must have any of the following:
- Information Technology
- Information Systems
- Or relevant IT qualification (Degree or Diploma)
- A+ Certificate
Selection Criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Not previously part of an internship/learnership with INSETA
- Be between the ages of 18 & 35
- Unemployed in the last 2 months
