Global Compact Network SA: Internships (Media, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations)
We are seeking motivated and creative Interns to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing, branding, and communications within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The intern will assist in the implementation of marketing strategies, assist with communication initiatives, and contribute to the promotion of our brand across various platforms.
You should be a recent graduate. You should be able to work with a diverse team and must possess a willingness to learn. Additionally, be fine-tuned to social media trends, designs, discussions and various social media platforms and how they operate. You also need to be strong in your ability to create and post content as quickly as possible.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Support the Communications Assistant:
- In creating engaging content for social media, newsletters, and the company website.
- In designing promotional materials, such as flyers, infographics, and videos.
- In monitoring and updating social media platforms to enhance audience engagement.
- In the execution of marketing campaigns.
- In the development of advertising and branding strategies.
- In researching industry trends and provide insights to enhance campaign outcomes.
- In planning, promoting, and executing company events.
- To coordinate logistics and materials needed for events and promotional activities.
- To ensure consistent brand messaging.
- In administrative tasks related to marketing and communications.
Requirements:
- Qualification in either: Media, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related.
- No work experience required.
Skills and Competencies:
- Basic proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud or Premiere Pro, Photoshop) is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for creativity, innovation, and learning.
- Videography, Photography, Video editing, Photo editing is a plus.
- Friendly, sociable, client service orientated with a strong work ethic.
- High levels of professionalism, integrity, and respect for diversity.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of quality work output.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications and ability to learn applications and technology.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
