The Investec Quants Graduate Programme is looking for dynamic, analytical candidates driven by tenacity, and Out of the Ordinary thinking to join our Graduate programme.
What is a Quant Grad?
A quantitative graduate (quant grad) typically studies advanced mathematics, statistics, applied mathematics or related fields. These individuals excel in model development, data analysis, and risk management, equipping them to tackle complex financial challenges in innovative ways.
Our two-year rotational programme, beginning in 2026, will allow successful candidates to gain exposure in the following areas and build a career in the broad world of Quants within specialised banking.
- IFRS 9 Development
- IRB development (Basel)
- Model validation
- Market risk
- Counterparty credit risk
- Balance sheet funding
- Equity research
- Analytics
Requirements:
Applications are open to post graduate honours and masters students pursuing qualifications in:
- Mathematics,
- Statistics,
- Applied Mathematics
- or other quants-related bachelor's degrees.
