The South African Pharmacy Council invites applications for internships as advertised for a period of twelve (12) months.
Stipend: R7 280 pm
Duration: 12 months contract

Requirements: National Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance.
Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, ability to work under pressure, good verbal and written communication skills, analytical, and attention to detail.
Duties: Assist with client invoicing. Assist with accounts/debtor reconciliation and reporting. Assist with the collection of outstanding accounts. Assist with cash book capturing. Respond to enquiries regarding areas of responsibility in a way that enhances and promotes the image of the Council. Reports to the Debtors Controller on all matters regarding KPAs. Duties: Assist with the processing of supplier invoices/ claims into the accounting system. Assist in accurately and timely capturing corporate credit card expenditure. Assist with sending payment notifications to suppliers/ claimants. Assist with the reconciliation of accounts payable (creditors) against supplier statements. Assist with weekly electronic filing. Respond to enquiries regarding areas of responsibility in a way that enhances and promotes the image of the Council. Report to the Financial Controller on all matters regarding KPAs.
Requirements: National Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics
Skills and Competencies: knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, ability to work under pressure, good verbal and written communication skills, analytical, and attention to detail.
Duties: Assist with sourcing quotations. Assist with preparing & sending purchase orders. Assist with receiving supplier deliveries. Issue and monitor stock. Assist with receipting supplier invoices on Accpac. Conduct regular/weekly stock audits. Tagging and/or labelling of assets. Conduct regular physical assets verification. Maintenance of electronic filing weekly. Reports to the Supply Chain Management Controller on all matters regarding KPAs
Requirements: National Diploma or Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related qualification
Skills and Competencies: knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, ability to work under pressure, good verbal and written communication skills, analytical, and attention to detail.
Duties: Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software. Provide technical support to staff, diagnosing and resolving IT-related issues. Provide support in maintaining and troubleshooting the network, server, and hardware infrastructure. Conduct research on new technologies and recommend improvements to enhance the IT infrastructure. Assist in data analysis, reporting and dashboard creation to support data-driven business decisions. Support with the configuration, monitoring and user management of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, Intune and Teams. Assist in implementing and monitoring security measures to protect SAPC data and IT systems. Contribute to the design, coding, testing, and documentation of internal software tools and applications. Support with the implementation and enforcement of IT policies, compliance processes and project management. Assist in providing technical support and troubleshooting the telephony system including IP phones, PABX and voicemail services.
