About the Internships & Learnerships

Momentum is currently offering internships and learnerships to unemployed young South Africans, with several positions open for applications. These programmes provide practical work experience, skills development, and exposure to the financial services industry, allowing participants to work alongside experienced professionals while building a strong foundation for their careers.

Available Opportunities

The following Internship & Learnership Opportunities are open for applications:

Human Capital Internship

• Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, or related discipline.

Investment Reporting Internship

• Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, BCom Accounting

Finance Technology Internship

• Requirements: Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting or Finance

Asset Origination Internship

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in:

• Finance,
• Economics,
• Business
• or a related field

Short-term Insurance Learnership

• Aged between 18 and 25 years (including turning 25 in 2026).
• Able to speak, read and write English .
• Passed Matric (a pass mark of 50% or above for English will be a requirement and Math will be beneficial). You MUST attach a copy of your Matric certificate to your application. If you are currently completing Matric, please attach a copy of your Matric preliminary exam results.
• Be computer literate .
• Currently unemployed and/or have no work experience.
• Not currently studying at any other institution or hold any post-Matric qualifications.
• Not currently registered for any other learnership.
• A genuine interest in pursuing a career in Short-term Insurance and a passion for learning.
• Must possess a clear criminal and credit record.

Quantitative Analyst Internship

Requirements: BSc (Hons) in:

• Actuarial Science,
• Mathematical Statistics
• or Financial Engineering

Events & Activations Internship

Requirements: Relevant qualification in:

• Marketing
• Events Management
• Project Management

L&D Facilitator Intern

Requirements: Degree in:

• Human Resources,
• Learning and Development
• or related field.
