MBV IT: Receptionist
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and suppliers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct all incoming calls and messages promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable reception and waiting area at all times.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services.
- Manage meeting room bookings and assist with staff or client meeting arrangements.
- Keep accurate visitor logs and assist with access control in line with company safety procedures.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry.
- Assist management with documentation, scheduling, and communication where required.
- Monitor and manage office supplies, stationery, and refreshments.
Requirements:
- Education: Matric / Grade 12. A Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration or related field will be advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year experience as a receptionist, front-desk clerk, or administrative assistant.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional telephone etiquette and customer service orientation.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and handle pressure professionally.
