Programme Overview

DHL Group is offering a YES 4 Youth Learnership aimed at providing unemployed youth with the opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. The programme allows participants to develop practical skills while working in a professional environment, helping them build confidence and improve their employability through hands-on training and exposure to real business operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn & adhere to clear understandings of the clients’ requirements
  • Build the knowledge & experience to ensure the correct use of equipment and to timeously report any defects.
  • To report and record any non-conformity with regards to customer merchandise.
  • To work within operating areas as determined by management and the needs of the business
  • When carrying out duties - adapt to following operating procedures and safe working practices
  • Adherence to Health & Safety standards & rules 
  • To contribute to a productive working environment
  • Participation in stock counts
  • Complete tasks timeously

 

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate
  • South Africa Citizens only
  • Unemployed youth from age 18 – 29 years

 

Advantageous

  • A valid driver’s license, minimum code 08 – Desirable
  • A valid Forklift/Reach truck license – Desirable.
