RedBull: Operations Internship (Supply Chain or Finance Graduates)

We're seeking a Operations Intern who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to dive into the world of Fleet and Procurement. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing vendor base, resolving customer issues, and enhancing our operational processes.

Responsibilities:

• Procurement Activities:
• Maintain and update vendor databases, contracts, and agreements.
• Assist in maintaining procurement records in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Support in the collection and analysis of supplier performance data (e.g., delivery times, quality of goods/services, pricing trends).
• Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing audit findings and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring all required documentation is collected and verified, specifically the correct BBBEE documentation.
• Assist with BBBEE audit prep.
• Help maintain and update the vendor database with accurate and up-to-date information.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing audit findings and improvement opportunities
• Fleet Activities:
• Assist in preparing reports on fleet utilization, cost efficiency, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with vendors for vehicle servicing, repairs, and insurance renewals
• Assist with fleet audits to ensure compliance with internal policies, local regulations, and industry best practices (e.g., vehicle maintenance records, insurance documentation, licensing, etc.)
• Support in maintaining a fleet database by ensuring records are accurate, up-to-date, and properly organized.
• Operational Coordination:
• Act as a point of contact between Red Bull, Fleet/Procurement providers, and customers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address procurement and fleet-related inquiries.
• Reporting & Improvement Processes:
• Prepare and present audit summaries and improvement recommendations to the Procurement and Fleet teams.
• Analyze trends and provide insights that support strategic decision-making in both areas.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure all procurement and fleet activities adhere to company policies and relevant laws/regulations.
• Support in identifying and mitigating risks related to vendor governance or fleet operations.

Requirements:

• Tertiary education (BCom, BSc, BTech) in: Supply Chain, Finance or a related field 

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of procurement or fleet management processes (or willingness to learn).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Proactive and eager to contribute to team goals.
