Eduvos: Internship (Assessment Coordinator)

 

Eduvos is looking to employ an Assessment Coordinator Intern, to be based at any of our 12 National Eduvos campuses.

 

Purpose of the role : To support the coordinated implementation, tracking and reporting of DFL assessment-related processes.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the assessment development and moderation processes s and provide consolidated feedback
  • Set clear timelines and release schedules accordingly
  • Monitor the DFL’s assessment timelines
  • Ensure timeous feedback to relevant parties
  • Release of relevant assessments at predetermined intervals
  • Source assessments briefs from Faculties
  • Conduct basic checks on DFL’s assessment readiness
  • Review assessments on relevant platforms (Gradebook / paper-based)
  • Co-ordinate assessment query process on a daily basis
  • Continues monitoring of incoming queries
  • Distribution of queries to relevant parties for resolution
  • Monitor responses to queries and follow-up where queries are not resolved
  • Distribute query responses appropriately
  • Refer training requests to relevant DFL/Eduvos role-players
  • Conduct checks on quality of online assessment system
  • Check for relevant alignment between module briefs and gradebook set-ups
  • Check assessment availability against assessment schedule
  • Provide administrative support to online assessment system users
  • Deliver on ad hoc projects/tasks as required (e.g. module mapping per year /block)

Requirements:

  • Higher Certificate in Office Administration / Management Assistant
  • Relevant Business / Education Degree will be an advantage
  • No experience required, however experience working with assessment/training-related/proctoring software will be an advantage.
  • Excel proficiency is a MUST, (actual experience with working on Excel, managing and tracking documents/sheets is essential)

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Computer Literacy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite – specifically Excel
  • Proficiency in Moodle or similar LMS
  • Very detail orientated; an eye for accuracy is a key requirement  
  • Initiative and responsibility

  • Analysis and judgment / problem solving
  • Systematic approach (planning and organising)
  • Execution – highly detail orientated
