Eduvos: Internship (Assessment Coordinator)
Eduvos is looking to employ an Assessment Coordinator Intern, to be based at any of our 12 National Eduvos campuses.
Purpose of the role : To support the coordinated implementation, tracking and reporting of DFL assessment-related processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the assessment development and moderation processes s and provide consolidated feedback
- Set clear timelines and release schedules accordingly
- Monitor the DFL’s assessment timelines
- Ensure timeous feedback to relevant parties
- Release of relevant assessments at predetermined intervals
- Source assessments briefs from Faculties
- Conduct basic checks on DFL’s assessment readiness
- Review assessments on relevant platforms (Gradebook / paper-based)
- Co-ordinate assessment query process on a daily basis
- Continues monitoring of incoming queries
- Distribution of queries to relevant parties for resolution
- Monitor responses to queries and follow-up where queries are not resolved
- Distribute query responses appropriately
- Refer training requests to relevant DFL/Eduvos role-players
- Conduct checks on quality of online assessment system
- Check for relevant alignment between module briefs and gradebook set-ups
- Check assessment availability against assessment schedule
- Provide administrative support to online assessment system users
- Deliver on ad hoc projects/tasks as required (e.g. module mapping per year /block)
Requirements:
- Higher Certificate in Office Administration / Management Assistant
- Relevant Business / Education Degree will be an advantage
- No experience required, however experience working with assessment/training-related/proctoring software will be an advantage.
- Excel proficiency is a MUST, (actual experience with working on Excel, managing and tracking documents/sheets is essential)
Skills and Competencies:
- Computer Literacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite – specifically Excel
- Proficiency in Moodle or similar LMS
- Very detail orientated; an eye for accuracy is a key requirement
- Initiative and responsibility
