About Global Internship Program - Sales

Our Global Internship Program empowers the next generation of talent by providing hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to international business practices—preparing future leaders to thrive in a connected world.

 

This internship offers students or recent graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in internal sales and business development within a global industrial company. The role is designed to provide exposure to sales processes, customer relationship management, and digital sales platforms, while supporting the Sales team in achieving business objectives. You will report to General Manager.

 

What You'll Be doing

  • Assist field sales representatives by supporting sales activities.
  • Learn how to contribute to organisational growth through sustainable sales strategies.
  • Gain exposure to Atlas Copco’s product and service range, focusing on remote customer engagement.
  • Support E-commerce initiatives by driving user adoption of Smart portal and assisting with onboarding and training of distributors and customers.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the scope for outgoing quotes.
  • Establish, develop and maintain relationships with customers through telephone calls and digital channels.
  • Learn to use CRM systems for managing customer data and quotes.
  • Participate in seminars, exhibitions, and marketing activities to gain industry exposure.
  • Support the team in ensuring efficient territory coverage.
  • Contribute ideas to business plans and sales strategies.

Entry Requirements

  • Recent Marketing or Engineering Degree.
  • Good organizational, planning and following-up skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Dynamic and results orientated.
  • Effective communication skills.

  • Growth mindset.
  • Passion for learning.

 

NB. This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Jet Park, Boksburg, South Africa (ZA). You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.
