Situated at the foot of Table Mountain, the residence is proud of its scenic, peaceful surroundings, making it an ideal location for focused studying and safe living.
The YW aims to create a homely, family-like environment where residents experience a happy, stable, and respectful atmosphere. Accommodation is offered to young women aged 18 to 25, including students and those in their first years of working. Residents come from various regions to stay at The YW, which is conveniently located close to universities and colleges in Cape Town and surrounding areas, with easy access to public transport. Accommodation is provided on a 10-month annual basis, with many residents choosing to reapply for additional years.
