Henkel: Field Sales Internship (Business / Marketing Graduates)
Location: Johannesburg-Bedfordview, Gauteng
Responsibilities:
- Support the Sales Team: Assist the sales team in their daily activities, such as scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing customer communications.
- Customer Research: Conduct research on potential clients, industries, and competitors to help the team tailor their approach.
- Lead Generation: Assist in identifying and qualifying new leads, reaching out via email or phone to schedule appointments or follow up with potential clients.
- CRM Management: Input and update client information and sales activities into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare materials and presentations for sales meetings.
- Market Analysis: Assist with analyzing market trends, customer needs, and sales strategies.
- Sales Support: Help coordinate and support sales events, webinars, and promotions.
- Shadowing Sales Reps: Participate in client calls or meetings, gaining exposure to how professional sales interactions are conducted.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform general office duties such as filing, organizing sales materials, and assisting with data entry.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Comfortable with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) is a plus.
- A strong desire to learn about the sales process and business development.
- Proactive attitude and attention to detail.
