About the Internship

Nokia is seeking ambitious university graduates in Human Resources for a Graduate Internship program within its People Organisation group in Johannesburg, South Africa. This internship offers a pivotal opportunity to contribute to Nokia's mission of enhancing and accelerating meaningful employee engagement, fostering cutting-edge innovation, and cultivating deep technical expertise.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Record keeping by maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and files and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. 
  • Assisting with the onboarding process for new hires, scheduling inductions.
  • Ensuring that benefits documents are fully completed and share then with the People Care Partner.
  • Assisting with payroll processes, including gathering data and submitting to the People Care Partner for review.
  • Assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures. 
  • Assisting with the coordination of HR events in line with the annual employee engagement program.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders for HR related events.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource management or a similar field.
  • Understanding and applying relevant labour laws and regulations to HR practices. 
  • SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
