Catalyst Capital Partners is a boutique corporate finance and strategic advisory firm advising public and private-sector clients on complex transactions, restructurings, operating-model design, and strategic transformation initiatives across South Africa and the region.

Job Overview

We are seeking high-calibre graduates and early-career professionals (0–3 years’ experience) to join our team in analyst roles. Appointments will be made across two tracks:

• 2 × Corporate Finance Analysts
• 2 × Strategic Management Consulting Analysts

All appointments will commence with a two-month internship / probation period, with conversion to a fixed-term analyst contract subject to performance.

Minimum Requirements

• Recently graduated or early-career professional with 0–3 years’ experience
• Undergraduate or honours degree with a minimum 70% academic average
• Preferred fields of study:

1. Finance
2. Accounting
3. Economics
4. Investment Management
5. Financial Engineering
6. Actuarial Science

• Strong quantitative and analytical capability
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to operate in a high-performance, deadline-driven environment

Desirable Attributes

• Prior internships, vacation work, articles, or relevant academic or professional project experience
• Demonstrated interest in corporate finance and transaction-related work
• Strong attention to detail and numerical discipline
• High work ethic and willingness to learn
• Professional maturity suitable for client-facing engagements
