Internship Overview

Philips is offering a 12-month Finance Internship designed to provide graduates with practical exposure within its Health Systems business in South Africa. The programme focuses on supporting financial reporting, analysis, and governance processes, giving interns the opportunity to contribute to budgeting, compliance, and performance monitoring activities while gaining valuable experience in a global health technology environment.

 

Your Role / Responsibilties

  • This role contributes directly to the financial health and governance of the South African Health Systems business, enabling accurate decision-making and supporting healthcare delivery across the region.
  • You will work closely with the Financial Controller – Health Systems, collaborating with finance, supply chain, customer service, and business stakeholders across the organization.

You are an ideal candidate if:

  • Education: Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with a minimum academic average of 60%.
  • Experience: Academic or internship exposure to finance, accounting, or business analysis.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Anything else: South African graduate who has completed all modules/credits and is eager to learn and grow within a purpose-driven organization.
