The Takeover Regulation Panel (the Panel) is a regulatory agency established in terms of section 196 of the Companies Act No. 71 of 2008 (the Act). It operates as a juristic person and reports to the Minister of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic). It functions as an organ of state within the public administration, but as an institution outside the public service. It is listed as a Schedule 3A public entity in the Public Finance Management Act of 1999 (Act 1 of 1999).
The Panel invites graduates in Law for internship opportunities for a period of 18 months.
Applications will only be considered from graduates with 4-year LLB and / or BCom Law degrees with a keen and demonstrated interest in Company / Corporate Law.
