The Community Schemes Ombud Service (CSOS) is a public entity established by the South African government to regulate and oversee the governance of community schemes such as sectional title complexes, homeowners’ associations, retirement villages, and housing estates. Its main role is to provide dispute resolution services, promote good governance, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation within these schemes. CSOS also offers education and guidance to scheme executives, owners, and residents to help improve the management and transparency of shared property communities

Internship Overview

The Community Schemes Ombud Service (CSOS) is offering a Revenue Internship for graduates seeking practical experience in finance and revenue administration. The internship provides an opportunity to support revenue-related processes while gaining exposure to financial operations within a public sector environment. Interns will be placed at the CSOS National Office in Centurion as well as the KZN and Western Cape Regional Offices, where they will assist with various administrative and revenue support functions.

Requirements

• Be a South African citizen.
• Have completed Grade 12 (matric).
• Degree or Diploma in Accounting or an equivalent qualification
• Basic computer literacy
• Not be permanently employed
• Not have previously participated in an internship programme
