AgriSETA: Supply Chain Internship Programme 2023

Role Pupose: Assist the Supply Chain Management official’s day-to-day activities.

Position Title: Supply Chain Management Interns

Duation: 18 Months Contract

Remuneration: Stipend

Responsibilities:

• Source quotations from tax-compliant service providers registered on the CSD in a set turnaround time.
• Compile RFQ comparative schedules and make recommendations for approval.
• Generate purchase orders and distribute them to suppliers and end users.
• Ensure and confirm compliance with SCM prescripts.
• Follow up with the suppliers regarding deliveries on outstanding purchase orders.
• Facilitate contracts or SLA processes for ongoing services.
• Ensure procurement is done according to the threshold values as stipulated by SCM Policy.
• Ensure effective and efficient processing of Requisition and Purchase orders.
• Provide support in Bid Committee meetings.
• Render secretariat services to the Bidding Committees.
• Provide bid administrative support

Requirements:

National Diploma / Degree in:

1. Supply Chain Management
2. Logistics
3. or equivalent

No work experience in Supply Chain required.

Skills and Competencies:

• Must have No experience.
• Basic Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel).
• Attentive to details.
• Team player.
