UBS: Finance Internship Programme 2024
The role is within SA Finance team who are responsible for the end-to-end Finance function of the entity in close collaboration with the Investment Banking business and other Group Functions.
We’re looking for a Finance intern to
- Assist and support the Finance team on end-to-end financial processes, including financial close
- Execute the processes and controls you are responsible for in a timely, accurate and complete manner
- Identify and recommend ways to improve processes, reduce risks and strengthen controls
- Close involvement in the accounts payable process with the view to optimise and improve the process
- Support ad-hoc projects (including process reviews and change initiatives)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma
- Proficient computer skills including (MS office), with advanced MS Excel (preferable)
- Interested in digitalisation and be willing to complete accreditation with different programing languages
- Quick learner, attention to detail and problem solving ability
- Adaptable, organised and able to adjust communication style to audience
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines and manage several priorities at once
- Project management skills (preferable)
